When do I have to book the moving service before the move in advance?
There is no such rule: you can book on the day of the move and we will start providing the moving service within hours, because it is our job. The only logical precondition is to have free capacity (an available moving van). Many years of statistics show that most people schedule to move on Fridays - Saturdays – Sundays and Mondays. Saturdays are often booked weeks before. It is worth noting that most sales and lease agreements are concluded with moving in and/or out by the end of the month.
It is common that the last and first few days of the months are booked one month in advance. When you know the date of the move, feel free to call our staff on duty, who will immediately inform you of our free capacity.
Are the prices and terms on the website the current ones; won’t one be surprised once the moving service is completed?
We honestly believe that be a service company, including our moving company, must not use its website as a "carrot". Our website is our "mirror"…, whatever you read on this website, you will find it in real life, in terms of both the attitude and the prices - we keep our promise. The information found under the menu moving in Budapest and moving outside Budapest is true and correct information.
In this connection, please note that the following services are provided for a surcharge; we will give you an offer once the exact parameters are known to us (in combination with moving services, we offer a reduced charge):
Moving of pianos and safes.

The prices under the menu moving in Budapest and moving outside Budapest do not include the value-added tax, HOWEVER, we pay the VAT of our residential customers until 31st December, 2015. If you order moving services as a residential customer, you do not have to pay any VAT. Of course, you can ask for a VAT invoice on the spot. The companies will have to pay the VAT.
Do you provide moving services on the weekends, too?
Our moving services are available 365 days a year, feel free to test us: if there is free capacity, we are at your service on holidays or even at night.
Our company does not offer moving services between 25 and 26th December only.
Do you ship and move a single object, as well?
Of course, we have moving teams in taxi truck "mode" every day. There is no limit of quantity.

What shall I say or write to your customer service staff so that they can inquire about my move?
1/1. When would you like to move?
Primarily, it is important to know when you want to order our moving services, therefore you should give us a date first: our employee checks the system within a few seconds and confirms if there is any free capacity, or proposes an alternative date for the move. Of course, if the move has no specific date yet, we are happy give you prior information.
1/2. From where to where do you want to move?
Before you place an order for our moving services, we need to know whether you move within Budapest or outside Budapest, however, you do not need to give us the exact addresses. For moving services outside Budapest, our staff may need the exact addresses to calculate the charge of the moving services. As for moving within Budapest, you should tell us if you live within a protected zone of the city, where we need a special drive-in permit to perform moving services. If you are not sure of it, our staff on duty is happy to help you and give you information.
1/3. What is the volume you can move?
In order to offer the required number of moving personnel, we should know the volume. Our customer service staff has immense practical experience in moving, so in most cases it is not necessary to give an itemized list of objects to be moved.
It is sufficient to say that e.g. it is a normally furnished apartment with a floor space of 40 square meters. Sometimes, of course, it may happen that our colleague asks you to send us a detailed list of the objects to be moved if the size of the truck or the recommended personnel should be specified precisely.
You should mention: if there is a heavy object in your home or in your office, e.g. safe, piano, upright piano, large aquariums, because we charge you a surcharge for the moving of such heavy items. Not everything fits through the door during moving, there are objects that should be lowered from the balcony. (In this case, the Customer Service colleagues may ask a series of questions, e.g.: from which floor, whether there is any canopy or air conditioner, etc. protruding from the level of the wall etc.). In some cases, the conditions in the flat, that should be emptied, have changed in the meantime (reconstruction or change of the entrance), therefore you should check and measure whether everything can be removed under the new conditions.
1/4. From which floor to which floor should the objects be moved, is there an elevator in the buildings, if so, what kind of an elevator?
There is no floor surcharge, however, to ensure that our experienced staff will offer you an optimal number of moving personnel, it is important to know. In multi-storey houses built during the past century, the elevator, installed later, is usually rather small or, due to its technical state, the residential community prohibits any moving operations with it, or only allows lifting boxes in the elevator.
In the normal elevator of a pre-fabricated concrete block of flats, nearly every piece of furniture can be moved except for high wardrobes, three-door cabinets and large sofas. The latter ones probably fit into the freight elevator, if there is such an elevator in the building. When moving items from and/or into detached houses, it is good to know whether it is a multi-storey house, and if so, what kind of stairs it has. Straight stairs with landings or a spiral staircase?
Is it necessary to disassemble and/ or assemble my furniture during moving. Can you do it?
Of course, our basic service includes this job; it does not involve any extra charge, there is a tool kit for the assembly of furniture in each van, and our moving teams have a daily practice in this job, as well.

Is it necessary to disassemble the furniture originally packed in flat boxes and deliver it this way?
Basically, it is not necessary. Most of the furniture can be moved in an assembled state; our customers often think that it is faster and more convenient to move just boards. Although they act for the best, this would not help us.
It is faster to move a typical piece of furniture in one piece as taking rounds with 20 disassembled pieces (instead of just one larger piece), and it is much easier and safer to protect whole pieces of furniture during the moving than small pieces full of hinges and dowels. It is best to disassemble the furniture during moving if it is 230 cm or higher – statically it is difficult to tilt and turn such furniture around.
If there is a wardrobe with a large sliding door or a three-door wardrobe in the apartment, they should be disassembled, if possible. Finally, the furniture needs to be disassembled if it does not fit into – or cannot be turned around - in the staircase.
Of course, our staff is at your service to assemble the furniture on the day of the move, if required.

Can you take responsibility for the damages caused during the moving service?
Our simplest answer would be that we have never caused any damage during our moving operations … we have read such things. The company that claims this performs either few moving services a year and is inexperienced or is simply not telling the truth. Perhaps our answer is more reassuring to you:
Every year, thousands of smaller and bigger moving tasks are performed by our company, while there is only a minimum number of damages and we take responsibility for them, we do not disappear. We do not “talk the hind leg off a donkey”; if we make a mistake, we will record the damage after the move and compensate you for your loss.
